Screen Printed Transfers

What are Plastisol Screen Printed Transfers?

Think of Plastisol Screen Printed Transfers as screen printing’s cooler, more flexible cousin. Instead of printing directly onto a shirt, I print your design onto special transfer film using super vibrant, long-lasting plastisol ink. Then, when you're ready, you just heat press that design onto your t-shirt, hoodie, hat — you name it!

The result? Bright, bold, professional prints that look and feel amazing. Plus, no mess, no fuss — just heat press and peel. Perfect for custom orders, limited drops, events, or when you want pro-level prints without the huge setup.

In short: your designs, on-demand, with all the swag.

A: A long time! With proper care, they’ll hold up just like traditional screen prints — staying bright and bold wash after wash.

Q: Can I store transfers for later use?
A: Yup! Just keep them in a cool, dry place and they’ll be ready to go when you are.

How to Apply Your Plastisol Transfers

1. I use low cure inks so heat up your press starting between 280°F and 320°F -- this is your starting point!

2. Place your garment on the press, smooth it out, you may pre-press for 3 to 5 seconds to remove moisture if desired. Lay your transfer ink-side down (Shiny smooth side facing up) where you want it.

3. Set your timer for 10 to 15 seconds and press down with firm pressure (don't be shy!)

4. Peel Hot or cold.  These transfers can be peeled Hot instantly or Cold

5. If needed, cover with a Teflon sheet or any Cover sheet for a few seconds for that smooth, pro finish.

Pro Tip--Every heat press is a little different.  These temps and times are a great starting point,  but you might need to do a few test runs to find that sweet spot for your setup.

Artwork file requirements

-Vector artwork is preferred! This ensures the cleanest, sharpest prints. If you submit non-vector artwork, an art charge may apply for conversion.

-Artwork files that may be upoaded; AI, SVG, CDR, PDF, PNG, TIFF, AND JPEG

-All files will be evaluated to determine if they are print-ready. If adjustments are needed, we’ll let you know!

-Use spot colors when creating your design for the best results.

-White Ink Rule: Only include white in your design if it actually represents white ink. If your design needs white ink, show it on a colored background so we know what you’re going for.

-Size Matters! Please send your artwork at the exact size you want it printed. If the file needs resizing, you must specify the exact dimensions in your order.
